Value for money
The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. We especially loved the cozy log fires that added to the atmospheric ambiance. The location of the hotel was perfect, tucked away on a hilly area and next to the brewery. It was close to Lake Windermere but far enough away to avoid the crowds. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the staff were friendly and professional.
Not one thing.
The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities were impeccable. The location in a nice area with scenic views next to the medieval forest was a great bonus. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options including cereals, fruit, cheese, meats, bread. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable.
Everything was fantastic.
The staff were outstanding, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The food was delicious, and the service in the bar and restaurant was excellent. My room was spacious, clean, and light. The hotel is well located, perfect for dog owners like me with its dog-friendly policy. The grounds were amazing, with acres of woodland and marked trails to explore. I had so much fun following the A-Z clue trail. The hotel also provided a DVD player and a selection of DVDs to choose from, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was great, and the range of local produce on the menu was excellent.
Nothing.
cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, breakfast, staff. Can't fault anything about it.
