Value for money
We were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, especially in the restaurant and bar area. The hotel is very dog-friendly, providing a dog bed and bowl in the room. The room itself was a good size, although a little dated. The car parking facilities were also good.
Nothing could have been better.
The reception staff were very welcoming, and the lady at the spa reception was efficient and helpful. I was impressed by the recently refurbished changing rooms, and it was great to have two swimming pools, one of which was adults only. The twin room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of lights. The bathroom was a good size and had a separate shower cubicle. The hotel is located in a peaceful setting, not far from the city center of Basingstoke. It was also convenient for shopping and restaurants.
Nothing that I didn't like.
The staff were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The facilities in our room were excellent, including amenities like an iron, coffee and tea, a television, and good Wi-Fi. The dinner at the restaurant was outstanding, and the room service was also top-notch. We received many compliments from our guests who stayed here, and we believe the use of the gym and spa played a part in their enjoyment. The hotel's location was convenient, with plenty of stores and cafes nearby, and a short drive away from the main activities in this city. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet at night.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The facilities were great, with 2 indoor swimming pools, sauna, gym, and indoor tennis courts. The hotel was located close to shops and the town, making it convenient for us. We were also impressed with the breakfast, which had a good range of options including gluten-free choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, and quickly addressed any issues we had. We appreciated that our requests for adjoining rooms and bringing our dog were easily accommodated.
Nothing to mention.
